Topic: Students research inside and outside the College

Minutes

 

1             Welcome, Apologies, Minute taker

2             Research facilities:

·         Rashed suggested that the college should provide special places for researches with teachers to help them and references

·         Mohammed noted that we should encourage outside research

·         Abdulla suggested we request outside pass cards from the companies for the students to visit and Interview the employee for information

3             Researches solutions

·         Mohammed suggested we give the students a free period of time for them to do the researches

·         Rashed proposed to set the topics of the researches to be related to their major

·         Rashed suggested we concentrate on the researches to help the students improve them selves

·         Action item: Abdulla will contact Layla Krouma so she could request help and pass card with companies to help with the students research

·         Action item: Mohammed will contact the college council ,requesting that the researches topics should be related and set a week off for the students to work on their researches

 

4          Recommendations – discussion points

·         Report should be presented to Academic Services

·         Rashed thought Layla would do better with contacting the companies

·         Mohammed suggested the dean of the college
